Equilumina – where your love for horses meets unforgettable experiences and creates moments that move you.
Be part of it and experience the fascination of the horse in its most beautiful form!
We come together to learn, to exchange ideas, to find community, and to share our passion for horses. At Equilumina, you can experience shows, demos, and trainer talks; you can book workshops with or without a horse, and even take part in games and performances yourself.
We’ll live in a unique atmosphere at Equilumina, complete with its own festival currency (Lumis), and you’ll have the option to stay overnight on-site in a tent or your camper. A large food area will offer everything from breakfast to dinner, and a curated market with selected exhibitors will round out the experience.
By purchasing a ticket for Equilumina, participants agree that photos and videos may be taken during the event and may be used for promotional purposes or the official aftermovie.
Participants are welcome to take their own photos and videos, and they are encouraged to tag or link the official Equilumina Instagram and Facebook accounts.
A variety of food options are available – from grilled meat dishes and rice-noodle meals to sweets, ice cream, and breakfast options.
Vegetarian and vegan meals are also available. Soft drinks and coffee are offered, and alcohol is served only to adults (underage visitors wear special wristbands).
Minors receive special wristbands and must always be accompanied by an adult. Children till 6 years are free, Children from 7 till 16 years can purchase a ticket with discount at Cavago. (This Function will come soon) The ID pass of the child has to be presented at the entrance.
Lumis (Coins) are the on-site currency at Equilumina and can be exchanged from Euros to Lumis at the Lumi Bank next to the Info Point.
You can exchange Lumis during bank opening hours.

Throughout the day, demonstrations, training sessions, and games take place on various arenas.
In the evening, enjoy a diverse and captivating show program. Gala/ Hiphlight Shows are on Friday and Saturday evening!
The schedule is continuously updated – viewing is included in the day ticket.
Tickets can be transferred after February if you become ill or cannot attend for other reasons. Check with our ticket provider CAVAGO or send us an email if you need assistance.
Important: If you transfer a horse ticket, please make sure to contact us if the new horse has a different sex or size. This is the only way we can ensure the best possible accommodation for the horses.
You can stay on-site in a VIP tent, your own tent, or a camper, or book a hotel or holiday apartment nearby.
Camping tickets are available via Cavago, together with your multi-day event ticket.

Horse Ticket:
To purchase a horse ticket, you should be able to classify your horse as intermediate or advanced (more information under Horse Assessment).
The ticket is valid from Wednesday evening to Sunday evening and includes a stall box, the first bedding with straw and hay, manure disposal, water, and your horse’s entry to Equilumina. (You can book additional workshops with your horse.)
Camping Tickets:
You can choose to stay in a VIP tent, bring your own tent, or come with your camper or caravan.
Workshop Tickets:
Once the schedule is published, you can choose from the different workshops and book as many as you like—either with or without a horse.
Cavago is our ticket provider. When you click on “Ticket” on our homepage, you will be redirected to Cavago. After registering, you’ll find our tickets under “Equilumina.” You can book your admission ticket and, if you like – now or later – also accommodation, a ticket for your horse, or, once the workshop schedule is announced, your workshops.
There is a limited number of spots for everything, so don’t wait too long 🙂

If you would like to book a workshop with a specific participating trainer, simply click on their profile on the website and explore their offers. Once our program is published, you can also browse and select your workshops there.
You can book your workshop ticket from end of December on the same booking page as your regular ticket. Just click on “Tickets” and you will be directed to it. After creating your account with CAVAGO, you can book all tickets directly there.
Experience and learn new skills in the workshops, where you can participate with or without a horse.
The program is continuously expanding as new trainers join. You can view the program once it is published on the website or on social media.
On each trainer’s profile, you can see which shows, demos, trainer talks, and workshops they offer.
Book your active workshop participation on the website under “Tickets.” Workshop sell starts on Christmas.
For workshops held in the large arenas or in the outdoor areas, spectators are welcome—watching is included in the day ticket price.
Horses may arrive starting Wednesday, 6:00 p.m. Please let us know by email if you would like to take advantage of this offer on Wednesday evening. On Thursday, horses may arrive starting at 8:00 a.m.
We will assist you when you arrive with your horses. You may drive your trailer directly to the stable tents, where you can first show your horses their new surroundings and lead them into their stall. After unloading your equipment for both your horse and yourself, we will show you where to park your car and trailer in the designated parking area a short distance away.
If your horse is classified as intermediate or advanced, you can purchase your ticket on Cavago.
When buying your 4-day ticket, you can also purchase your horse’s 4-day ticket, which includes a stall for all event days.
All horses must be vaccinated against influenza and tetanus(hepatitis recommended).
Passports and vaccination records must be presented; checks may occur at any time.
For horses there are only 4-day tickets, th box for your horse is reserved for the hole duration of the festival.
To ensure the best experience for everyone, please assess yourself and your horse honestly.
Your horse must remain calm, controlled, and respectful – even in a lively event environment with crowds, banners, and flags.
Basic/Beginner
If your horse is still working on basics such as calmness, focus, or reliable handling, please take more preparation time.
This year’s event may not yet be suitable for participation with your horse – but you’re warmly invited to attend as a visitor and learn in a unique atmosphere!
Intermediate – Safety & Progress
You already have experience in unfamiliar environments and want to continue developing with your horse. You can safely control your horse – stopping, backing up, shoulder and hindquarter control, as well as lateral movements like shoulder-in, both on the ground and in the saddle. If these foundations are solid, you’re in the right place at Equilumina.
Advanced – Refined Communication & Precision
You are a well-coordinated team with experience in various environments and want to further refine your communication. Travers, renvers, circling with light aids, and transitions with subtle cues all work harmoniously for you – even in a lively event atmosphere.

Here’s to an inspiring community, many eager-to-learn horse–human teams – and to welcoming you at Equilumina.
You must purchase your horse ticket in the correct gender category so we can reserve the appropriate stall for your horse. There will be a separate stable tent for stallions and one for mares. Geldings will be divided accordingly. After purchasing the horse ticket, please let us know your horse’s height at the withers and whether your gelding can be stabled near mares or stallions.
The horse ticket includes a stall for four days, the first bedding with straw, hay, water, and manure disposal. Additional straw and hay can be purchased on-site. For insurance reasons, feeding and keeping the stall clean are your responsibility, but we are happy to support you if needed.

VIP Tents VIP tents are beautifully furnished, pre-set luxury tents. You can move in directly-no setup required.

In addition to the regular camping items:
– Fill up your water tank before arrival – there is no refill option on-site
– Wheel chocks for leveling your vehicle

– Fly screen for the door / fly swatter
– Outdoor mat or carpet for the entrance area (the ground is grass)
Power is available in the camping areas, and mobile phone charging stations are located in the Chill Tent.
They are marked on the map (available online and at the Info Point).
Toilets along the main road and on the campsite are open 24/7.
Showers are located next to the toilet containers and open from 7:00 a.m. – 11:00 p.m.
In the camping area for tents there are also some toilett cabines, open 24/7

VIP access is limited to the camping area.
VIP camping includes luxurious, pre-built tents with beds (inclusive bedding, pillows) and power.
There are additional toiletts in the tent area.

You must purchase your horse ticket in the correct gender category so we can reserve the appropriate stall for your horse. There will be a separate stable tent for stallions and one for mares. Geldings will be divided accordingly. After purchasing the horse ticket, please let us know your horse’s height at the withers and whether your gelding can be stabled near mares or stallions.
The horse ticket includes a stall for four days, the first bedding with straw, hay, water, and manure disposal. Additional straw and hay can be purchased on-site. For insurance reasons, feeding and keeping the stall clean are your responsibility, but we are happy to support you if needed.

Important: If you transfer a horse ticket, please make sure to contact us if the new horse has a different sex or size. This is the only way we can ensure the best possible accommodation for the horses.

Toilets along the main road and on the campsite are open 24/7.
Showers are located next to the toilet containers and open from 7:00 a.m. – 11:00 p.m.

Various trainers share their knowledge through workshops, demos, shows, and trainer talks.
If you would like to book a workshop with a specific participating trainer, simply click on their profile on the website and explore their offers. Once our program is published, you can also browse and select your workshops there.
You can book your workshop ticket from end of December on the same booking page as your regular ticket. Just click on “Tickets” and you will be directed to it. After creating your account with CAVAGO, you can book all tickets directly there.
Teenager till the age of 16 can buy a 3 and 4 day Ticket with discount in the section children in information area.
All other Tickets are the normal Price and from the age of 17 on you pay also the normal price for every ticket.

Horse Ticket:
To purchase a horse ticket, you should be able to classify your horse as intermediate or advanced (more information under Horse Assessment).
The ticket is valid from Wednesday evening to Sunday evening and includes a stall box, the first bedding with straw and hay, manure disposal, water, and your horse’s entry to Equilumina. (You can book additional workshops with your horse.)
Camping Tickets:
You can choose to stay in a VIP tent, bring your own tent, or come with your camper or caravan.
Workshop Tickets:
Once the schedule is published, you can choose from the different workshops and book as many as you like—either with or without a horse.
If you have purchased a horse ticket and plan to bring a different horse, please contact us if this horse is a different sex or size. This is the only way we can ensure the best possible accommodation for the horses.

VIP Tents VIP tents are beautifully furnished, pre-set luxury tents. You can move in directly-no setup required.

Book your active workshop participation on the website under “Tickets.” Workshop sell starts on Christmas.
For workshops held in the large arenas or in the outdoor areas, spectators are welcome—watching is included in the day ticket price.
